Be Clear

Looking back.

What do you see?

I see fear.

I see lack of confidence.

I feel the fear of rejection.

I feel unhappy.

Looking now with clarity.

What do you see?

I see joy.

I see boundless confidence.

I feel spicy.

I feel love.

Isn’t it amazing when you get really clear about what you want to see and feel?

Isn’t it amazing when you get clear on the definitive destination of your daily life, family life and career?

It is magnificent!

The most beautifully created cake, meal, castle, gown or jewel cannot compare to how I feel right now in my life.

Tapping into my core feelings every day thanks to this beautiful planner:

Releasing tension and living with intention throughout my day thanks to the beautiful gift Brendon Burchard has given through his High Performance Habits book.

Quiet in my soul.

Being in my soul.

Now, off to change some lives through a great big brown box of super foods.

😘 Joanna

Be Living Your Light

Thrown down.

Living looking down.

Feeling down.

While looking around.

Eyes darting.

Heart dying.

Words cursing.

All over my mind.

My light shining.

Pushing up.

Living as me.

While looking within.

Eyes glowing.

Heart overflowing.

Words pouring.

Lying down.

All over my mind.

All our lights shining.

Pushing out.

Living out loud.

While looking around.

Eyes soaring.

Heart bursting.

Words blessing.

All over the world.

This night do not allow the light of others to diminish all that you can do.  Allow your light to find strength in their light.  Be strong in who you are and build up those around you also living in their light!  Shine my beautiful friend! Light it up!

 Smooch, Joanna
Glory to God whose power in us can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine! (Eph 3:20)

Be ‘Flow’

A word for you.

A word for me.

A word to sit with,

To help me be.

Are a few words I have pondered.

In 2016, I definitely know

That my life will be about

Find flow.

Flow with others.

Flow within.

Flow with finances.

Flow to begin.

Each day.

Each moment.

Each thought.

Each deed.

Finding flow flowing over and around and through me.

Being me.

With flow.

In flow.

Be Riding Nana’s Bike (Post about Joy!)

Lately have you felt that happiness that just flows out of you?

Your teeth seem whiter and brighter?

Your smile is larger than life?

Joy seeps out through every skin cell in your body?

Last weekend, we decided to get the bikes ready for a ride to a local coffee shop.

We noticed Nana’s old bike in the back of garage from when our friend Sara used it last year.

We asked our oldest, JC, if he wanted to ride Nana’s bike.

The ride was PURE joy for him and it flowed through us all.

He loved the feeling of being up on Nana’s bike.

He was mesmerized with her gears.

We talked about all the different places that Nana used to ride her bike and how she would often just miraculously show up in our backyard for a ‘break’ and a drink of cold water.

Really we knew that Nana loved a destination and she loved seeing her people!

As we watched JC ride Nana’s bike, happiness flowed out of us all.

Our teeth seem were whiter and brighter.

Our smiles were larger than life?

Joy was seeping out through every skin cell in our bodies?

A perfect joy-filled precious moment.

Just being.

Be Lighting up Flu February

3 little sickies lying on the couches.

3 red faces.

3 fevers hot.

White candles burning.

Filling up the space.

3 little boys lit up with light.

Holding space with my boys.

Holding my boys.

Apple sauce.

3 little boys down for the count.

Not for long, though, so world watch out!

With gratitude for the choices that I have made to allow these days to be simple days where I still get paid.

Day by day.

Being present.

Mothering my boys.

Being me.

Be Pondering String, Puppies and a Lion

Lying on the ground.

In silence.

In peace.

Tangled woven fabric all around me, across my face circling my body.

Standing arms flailing.

A puppy, playfully pulling around, like he’s chasing his tail, helping me unravel.

And around.

The puppet strings are cut.

I no longer need to wrestle or perform.

I can be.

A lion walks beside me.

He smells like heaven.

Lush and green.

Warm and luscious.

We are walking freely.

In peace.

Nuf said.

Be Breakingdown to Breakthrough

There is a great myth in this world that hard stuff is bad stuff.
A myth that makes us perseverate on the bad and prohibits us from realizing the greater changes that could occur through this hard stuff.

Like working out physically hard at the gym, our bodies are capable of great changes by adding resistance and effort to breakdown our muscles so they can be built up stronger.

When dealing with the hard stuff that comes up in our life, our minds are capable of using these difficult times to create breakthrough and change our lives.

This story is just surfacing to share and bring freedom that is created when a breakdown can create a breakthrough.

Hindsight is 20/20 and there is nothing like watching death unfold to provide hindsight.
Two months after my mom died, it was the season of winter, outside and inside my soul.  The cold had settled in.  It was dark.
Two months after my mom died, I sat down and made a decision.

Would I allow her life and death fill me with bitterness or anger or would incredible good come from a life well-lived?

I chose finding the greater good, trusting God’s goodness and greater plan.   It was an easy choice as a wise counsellor had been teaching me about not judging things as either good or bad, but just noticing them.   In this choice, I daily looked for good while still rowing my boat of grief in the waves of sadness.  Every day, great goodness kept unfolding in front of us.

For this breakthrough moment in that cold, wintery day, I am incredibly grateful.  It has not only provided trips of our dreams, a business that uses all my gifts, amazing nutritional products to fuel our bodies, but an incredible opportunity to grow personally.

With gratitude.

For all we can do.

For the ways we can be.

With intention.

With daily discipline.

And grace.

And humility from the lessons of life

Breakdown creating breakthrough.

Be Counting Time?

We are fortunate to have four, well-rounded seasons in our part of the world.

They flow easily and gently through beautiful hot summers, into a cool, colourful autumn, then a crisp, snowy winter and a mild, life-giving spring.

Can you feel the change in the air right now during this season?

It is almost as though now should be the new year.

The greatest gift of these seasons we are given each and every year, consistently without question is that we are all given the gift of the same amount of time.

No less than another and no more.

What will you do with this gift of your time during this new season?

Will you make your time count or just count the time?

You can choose.

No excuses.

It is your gift.

The seasons come.

Time goes.

Be enough.

Be Pressing Pause

When your mind is on a hamster wheel and the thoughts keep turning around and around,

Press pause.

When you feel the side of the walls closing in on you,

Press pause.

When the busyness of your life begins to overtake you,

Press pause.

Don’t be afraid to stop for a moment or two.

Jump in.

Press pause.

When you desire to press pause you can choose people who help you to get away.

When you need to press pause you could go to a remote place.

When you want to press pause you could choose to meditate.

“Be still and know I am God.

Be still and know I am.

Be still and know I.

Be still and know.

Be still and.

Be still.

Be still.

Be still and.

Be still and know.

Be still and know I.

Be still and know I am.

Be still and know I am God.”

(You can say this aloud as many times as you need to start your ‘pause’)

When you know you need to press pause simply lying down on the ground will help.

Purposely press pause this long weekend.

You won’t regret it.

Be a Tour Guide not a Travel Agent

I have a daily choice to make on how I want to live my life.

My life.

Impacting others.

My choice.

On how others impact me.

I have made the decision that I am going to live the rest of my days as a TOUR GUIDE.

I will be a leader.

I will speak clearly and kindly.

I will explore new places with excitement.

I will be show love and forgiveness to those on this journey with me.

I will try all sorts of new food.

I will jump into new activities.

I will not sit in my desk as a travel agent, but I will lead the tour!

Today, I unveil my new website

I will be your tour guide on this journey into being “enough”!

Here I am with my boys:

I am taking 100% responsibility for MY LIFE.

I am going to neither blame nor complain.

I will continue to LOVE deeply those placed around me.

I will listen.

I will ask.

I will be overflowing with gratitude that my basic needs of food, clothing and housing are completely met.

I am going to live my dream and create a clear vision for my family.

I will allow my path to wander.

I will believe.

I will know that what others think of me is none of my business.

I will set goals and create small daily tasks for myself.

I will look for others who have done what I am going to do.

I will link arms with those who inspire, encourage and love me as I am.

I AM releasing the BRAKES.

Here we go….
