Be Living Your Light

Thrown down.

Living looking down.

Feeling down.

While looking around.

Eyes darting.

Heart dying.

Words cursing.

Running.

Playing

All over my mind.

BUT NOW LIGHT.

My light shining.

Pushing up.

Living as me.

While looking within.

Eyes glowing.

Heart overflowing.

Words pouring.

Lying down.

Living.

All over my mind.

BUT NOW LIGHT.

All our lights shining.

Pushing out.

Living out loud.

While looking around.

Eyes soaring.

Heart bursting.

Words blessing.

Flying.

Present.

All over the world.

MORE AND MORE LIGHT!

This night do not allow the light of others to diminish all that you can do.  Allow your light to find strength in their light.  Be strong in who you are and build up those around you also living in their light!  Shine my beautiful friend! Light it up!

Be Giving a Gift of Being

I am in constant flux everyday moving from being a human doing, doing, doing while try to be an awake, present human being.

As I have been journeying through this ‘beingness’, I have pondered and sat, ran and rambled and create a free gift to add value to those that want to wander and wonder as a human being.

I have created a sixty day set of emails and videos that will be sent randomly throughout the time to your inbox.  Some wonderings may surprise you, others will make you smile and chuckle, but my hope is that as a collective group of likeminded people we will live through sixty days as present, awake human beings.

Come join us… Checkout www.joannacann.com and leave your email!

I wonder as I wander…. 60 days together!

Be Creating a Culture of Honour (Panda Style)

When you desire a culture of honour and have the privileged to see it face-to-face, it is humbling.

Win or lose.

Good or bad.

Honour stands.

It gives freedom.

It shows respect.

It is empowering.

It involves healthy discipline not punishment.

Culture of honour for me is thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Honour.

Freedom.

Respect.

Empowerment.

Healthy discipline.

My CC, was able to sit in a circle of honour last weekend.

Surrounded by warrior athletes, who sacrifice to help their team become its best year after year.

They are led by their empowering coach, my coach from many years ago when I played Varsity volleyball.

Despite losing last weekend’s match, my son was welcomed into the fold to stretch, hangout and be amongst these warrior women and coaches.

Being present.

Creating space.

Growing.

Allowing being.

culture of honour)

I am reading this amazing book as I seek honour.

Within myself.

With my Sexy Neck.

With my boys.

With my family.

With my friends.

In my community.

Within my business.

Culture of honour.

Honouring myself, which honouring every person who comes across my path.

Be Creating a Full Time Family

A family where we can choose to spend most of our time together.

A family where the children have equal time with both parents.

A family that can be full time living life together and part time at work.

My personal definition of a full time family.

A place where we choose our schedule and money is of no consequence.  (What is money anyways, but a concept of trading money for time.) We are working very hard, every day to create residual, freedom income.  Sexy Neck is working with a contractor to create a rental home on our property. I have launched a book into the world and I love coaching people using nutritional systems I love.  The company gives me rebates for supporting and loving people to reach their individual energy, performance, weight loss, healthy aging or even financial goals.

My dreams continue to become reality as Sexy Neck and I walked our boys to school together today.  As he is an educator with similar hours, I can count on two hands how many times he has been able to walk with us to school in the last four years.

I will hold to my full time family vision, not knowing ‘how’ it is going to unfold.   My mom’s death taught me that sometimes we can’t just figure things out, we must walk them out.

With excitement.

With gratitude for each day.

With moments like this.

As a full time family.

Be Tweaking My Neck

Yessiree Bob, I tweaked my neck.

No idea how.

I wasn’t twerking.

Just living life.

I am so grateful for this time of tweaking.

Time to slow down.

Time to look at the clear blue skies.

An opportunity to be grateful.

No matter the circumstances.

I have work where I choose my daily rhythm.

I can put my health first.

I can lie flat on my back if I need to.

No day shall pass where I will not spend time in gratitude.

Even with a pain in my neck!

Look at this view:

Even in the midst of physical and emotional pain, we can find gratitude.

We just need to choose to look.

(From whatever position we may be in!)
