Tonight after dinner we found some hidden boxes in the basement as well as the cord to our piano. It was a post dinner extravaganza of piano playing and putting together every puzzle we have.

Be A Royal Trendsetter
My dad is a royal trendsetter.
We were very surprised to see baby Prince George wearing our absolute favourite blanket as he was put into his car seat after leaving the hospital.
My dad has bought each of our three boys these incredible blankets from aden + anais.
We love them because they are lightweight, good for swaddling, wiping up spit-up, using as an actual blanket and a simple cover up for breast feeding. They are the most versatile blanket for all four of the seasons that we experience here.

Our Youngest Little Prince, OC
I feel a strong connection to this wee Prince not only because of the blanket, but because I was born and raised in Prince George.
Welcome to the world Prince George. May The Lord bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you. May your parents enjoy every moment getting to know you with freedom and grace to be themselves.
Be Making Granola
This is our current go-to recipe for bedtime snack. Thanks Diana for posting it on your blog. Here is the original post. She calls it Gnome Granola.
I rewrote the recipe below.
Diana’s Granola
4 cups oats
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup coconut
1 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup walnuts
Put all the dry ingredients in a big bowl.
Melt
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup honey
And when warm add
1/2 tsp vanilla
Then immediately stir into the dry ingredients. Put on a tray. Bake at 350 for 20 mins. Stir halfway.
I put the dry ingredients in the bowl the night before. I also didn’t put in the coconut this time. Also I prefer pecans and will sometimes substitute them for the walnuts. I also add chia seeds or wheat germ sometime instead of the sesame seeds.
My foodie friend Diana has helped me become freer in changing the recipes.
This is definitely a recipe to play with and make it your own.
Have fun!

Be Having Your First Haircut
Be Batman
It’s show time over here at our house.
We have a leather bench full of costumes. The boys usually pull them out once per day to put on a show for us. (Our life is enough reality for us so we haven’t had TV since our oldest was six months old.)
Our current favourite shows are: farm, dolphins, and playing instruments.
Here is our middle guy CC in a pre-show pose:
Be Enjoying A Move From A Small Town To THE Big City
We have moved! After two months and fourteen days of living in my awesome parent’s basement while doing renovations, our family of five and all our stuff has arrived at the new house.
Bye bye twenty foot storage container
Hello to life with a swimming pool
Yum for cheaper sushi. Our family’s favourite food! JC even ate Miso soup with me.
Yeah for new discoveries: a frozen yogurt buffet where you choose from twenty different frozen yogurts, add a topping if you want, then weigh it to find out the damage.

Now to just get everything into their rooms in a somewhat organized fashion.

Stay tuned!
Be In A Restful State
I feel that I have a healthy understanding of what my strengths and limitations are. I know that one area I need to work on is learning how to “rest”.
I think the physical posture of rest is important for me to learn. I have endured numbness, tingling and muscular fatigue in my limbs and face for almost four years. I think learning to physically, mentally and emotionally rest is the key to my healing.
Day two in our new house and Sexy Neck modelled “rest” for me well, even with our three boys mulling around.
